Data that finally
made sense.

Lafayette's strategic bonus system touched every employee in the company. It was also completely impossible to understand. I designed the product that changed that.

BVE Dashboard · login screen · Lafayette · 2022

Every employee had a bonus. Nobody understood how it worked.

Lafayette's BVE tied individual performance to corporate strategy across multiple dimensions. Every quarter, every employee's bonus was calculated through it. The problem: it lived in spreadsheets and PDFs. The data existed but it wasn't readable. Employees couldn't track their goals, compare with their team, or know what their bonus would be before it arrived.

"When people understand how their work connects to the company's results, they engage differently. The design problem was also a culture problem."
